Meet the board of directors for New England Junior Roller Derby. The board offers advisory and logistical guidance for the league. Like other NEJRD-affiliated adults, members of the board are dedicated volunteers.
Wendy Matusovich, President
Wendy has worked in the nonprofit world for over 30 years. For the last 14 years she has been Executive Director of a youth, nature education program. Wendy is a co-founder of New England Junior Roller Derby and has been President since the org started in the spring of 2021.
Jeffrey Pomerantz, Vice President
Roller derby has been eating Jeffrey’s life since his skater started skating in 2014. He is a co-founder of New England Junior Roller Derby and has been Vice President since the org started in the spring of 2021. Before that he was on the board of the Seattle Derby Brats.
Matt Snell, Treasurer
Matt is a co-founder of New England Junior Roller Derby and has been on the board since the org started in the spring of 2021.
Dawn Leary
Dawn joined New England Junior Roller Derby in the summer of 2022 and joined the board in August 2023. Dawn brings 20+ years of Leadership experience from Business Management roles with the most current role of a Certified Process Improvement Consultant.
